Pulaski

Arrived at the home of the kkk, after an unintentional 90 miler with pat and Becca. However... This place is amazing. We rode in, dropped off our bikes to be WASHED and regreased, I made a sundae there are huge plates of food around, a shrimp boil, adult beverages, AC, a pool, beds, a chiropractor..... This is insane! More to come soon but fornow enjoying it :)

Things I am learning

1. Rumble strips suck, on a bike.
2. North carolinians love cyclists.
3. Tennesseeians love motorcyclists.
4. Biking is a lot faster than walking, so when you cycle all day, walking seems really lame and slow.
5. I want to bike across another country if I survive this, like Ireland.
6. You can really appreciate all of the sounds and smells of the land you travel through when on a bike.
7. Pace lines can be scary but also awesome.
8. I still have a lot to learn about cycling.

Dunlap

Gorgeous ride today into Dunlap. It was shady in the AM but got up to 98 degrees in the afternoon. Luckily me Kathy and nick got in around 2:30. We are staying at an armory which is very cool. Tanks.

After making it up a steep climb with crazy switch backs we came to an area that had been hit really hard by tornados in thepast few weeks. Pretty scary stuff we heard from the locals. Makes me wish we could help but we'll only be staying onenight here in Dunlap.

Hi Emily!

Work it Alli

Sweetwater, not Cleveland

We stayed in sweetwater last night due to tornado damage and warnings in Cleveland, Tennessee. The highlight of the evening, by far, was beating Ben in knock out AND fooseball.

Fun group ride this morning, took some action shots! At a beautiful spot for lunch on our way to Dunlap!

Happy birthday Becca!!!!!!!!!!!
